Venue-locating company keeps Lloyds TSB remit

Bristol-based venue finder and production company Conference Connections has retained its contract with Lloyds TSB for another three years. The agency originally won the pitch with the bank three years ago, and the contract was extended following a recent review of Conference Connections’ services. In addition to venue finding for Lloyds TSB’s events, Conference Connections will continue to be responsible for the logistics, design and staging of its conferences, roadshows, exhibitions and meetings. The company’s other recent client wins for its venue-finding division include Corus and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Conference Connections is also expanding its production division. “We have always produced conference openers and special interest inserts, however, we are now increasingly incorporating video material as part of speakers presentations,” said managing director Huw Morgan. “It is a key part of providing an all-round conference and event service.” This growth falls in line with a move to larger offices and the company will also embark on a recruitment drive to meet the recent increase in business. The company has also appointed John Dalgarno to the newly created post of creative director.
