Luxury event adds to buyers offering

International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) has extended its offer for buyers to include a pre-event conference and post-event golf day. The Cannes-based show is taking place from 10-12 December. The optional conference will be held on 9 December in the Palais des Festivals. The list of speakers will include Leading Hotels of the World CEO Paul McManus, Fischer Travel Enterprises CEO Bill Fischer and John Spencer, architect and founder of the Space Tourism Society. It will be moderated by TV’s Luxury Travel Show presenter Varun Sharma. The golf day will be staged on 13 December at the Royal Mougins Golf Club. It will be organised by agency C2E and is open to all buyers. ILTM exhibition director David Hammond said: “The calibre of exhibitors and registered buyers is astounding.” The event incorporates 15 UK exhibitors, including 11 Cadogan Gardens, 51 Buckingham Gate and British Classic Yachts. The UK C&I hosted-buyer group is being run in association with CIT. Buyers from the UK include participants from Maritz, Skybridge Group and Elite Events. The hosted-buyer itinerary will include BA flights, accommodation at a five-star property and dinners. ILTM marketing executive Sarah Ball said: “On the first night buyers will be hosted at the Carlton Hotel for a cocktail reception with other VIPs and exhibitors.” Exhibitor Leading Hotels of the World CEO Paul MacManus described the new show as “innovative” and said “events such as this enable us all to benefit from the experience of other purveryors of luxury products and services.”
