Hilton UK and Ireland has restructured its sales team to offer a more streamlined approach. The sales team has been split into four areas – business sales, leisure sales, business development services and business development systems and information. Business sales, which deals with conferences, is headed by Alistair Rodger. Leisure sales, which also includes responsibility for group incentives, is under Alex Carvalho. Business development services is run by Susanne Manning and business development systems and information is headed by Bev Newton. Business development services includes responsibility for Hilton Direct, the international hotel chain’s meetings booking service. All four divisions are headed by Rosemarie Shill, vice-president of business development at Hilton UK.
