Diary: Gaining insight into the event sector's bag ladies

It takes something special to surprise event planners but last month Conference Leeds did just that when it invited buyers to join it for lunch. As part of the entertainment, ladies could have the contents of their bags analysed to see what it said about them. It was all in aid of Breast Cancer Research and Everyman charities, so we shouldn't mock, but it can't be a good advert for these organisational dynamos to have their old tissues, holey tights and mouldy sandwiches waved about.
