To be held on 7 November at London's private members club Paper, the event marks the first time that the bureau has hosted a workshop in London.
Commenting on the decision to bring the French capital's message to the UK, Paris Convention Bureau UK manager Corine Bernadou said: "The UK market is one of great importance for us and our partners, and this is certainly reflected in the sheer number of suppliers that have agreed to participate.
We are buoyed by the support of these members towards this initiative.
It is essential that we pool our strengths and present a unified message for C&I planners.
"The city's event offering has experienced a considerable boost this year with around ten venues such as Le Petit Palais opening up for private functions. Event planners may feel that they know Paris but the city is undergoing such an evolution and there are so many new venues and themes to discover," she added.
Corporate and agency buyers can opt for pre-registered meetings with more than 25 Parisian suppliers including hotels groups such as Hilton, Concorde, Sofitel and Starwood. Les Yachts de Paris, Musee d'Orsay and DMCs such as Allied Travel France, La Fayette Travel and France Connection are among the partners, as are Eurostar and C&IT.
Paul Roll, director of the Paris Tourist Board will make a presentation prior to the buffet and party to reinforce the message that the city's culture and heritage offerings are interspersed with its event options.
The convention bureau is in the process of appointing a London-based events agency to co-ordinate the marketing and planning of the workshop and party.
