Diary of a Start-up: Brand building, that's where the fun starts

Having dealt with other people's brands for so long, it's sobering having to create your own. The problem is that when you lay out every brand idea you've ever had, it just looks like a mess. But actually it's a complex jigsaw puzzle. We were keen to get materials to market - brochures, direct mail campaigns, website, etc - but only when we had finished the puzzle (and created a brand), could we really contemplate our collateral.
