Diary: Eponymous tosh

Realising that 19 January's International Penguin Awareness Day was too good an opportunity to pass up, Windsor-based event management company Penguins got into the swing of things by dressing up as the wingless Antarctic bird of the same name and striding about some of London's landmarks handing out - yes, you've guessed it - Penguin biscuits to bemused passers-by and amused city clients. Shortly after the picture was taken, this penguin was beaten senseless by an angry mob of pigeons, after its appearance sparked fears of a turf war. That last bit might not be true.
