You might have been too fraught and otherwise preoccupied with biting your nails to the quick to notice, but it was National Stress Awareness Day recently. This seems an apt description for for most days of the week if you ask Diary, but you can't fault the efforts made by the folk at Tulip Inn Newcastle to soothe the furrows of collective brows. The hotel was hosting delegates from Gateshead Health NHS Trust, and treated each and every one of them to a complimentary coffee-break massage. You know where to head next year.
