Sun International's Ocean Club resort, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, opened 50 new oceanfront rooms and suites in October. The property's existing 58 rooms, suites and villas have been fully renovated, following an investment of more than pounds 70m. Facilities at the resort include a new restaurant called Dune, an 18-hole championship golf course - to be opened in December this year - a fitness centre and nine floodlit championship tennis courts. The retreat will also be opening an exclusive full-service spa in 2001.
