Olympics: Industry Reaction - Stratford a potential site for London's ICC

The proposed international convention centre for London, if it gets the go ahead, could be based in Stratford. While the feasibility study has highlighted that there is demand for a centre, event organisers have been calling for a central London location. However, Sally Greenhill, director of The Right Solution, the company involved in compiling the study, said the Olympic decision could sway that. "Although there is no direct link between the Olympics and the proposed ICC, the infrastructural developments in the East End in the run-up to the Olympics mean that Stratford is now a strong contender," she said.
