Mauritius is on a roll. Two brand-new hotels opened last year, another two emerged from major refurbishments and more are set to follow - all complemented by improved air services. High service levels, mostly reasonable prices and the natural charm of the landscape and people have made Mauritius a top choice. Visitors do not even suffer jetlag, as there is only a four-hour time difference.
