International: CVB survey indicates divergence on taxes

A global benchmark survey of convention and visitors bureaus worldwide has identified the issue of local tourism taxes as one of the most significant differences between European and US organisations. In the US, tourism taxes such as those applying to hotel guests and venue clients account for more than 70% of CVB income.
