Never slow to accept a free drink, the great, the good and the thirsty of the C&I industry turned up in force to toast the appointment of new CIT editor Kerry Baggott (right). After an emotional introduction from magazine publisher, Paul Twite (centre) and a hearty welcome from managing director Nick Stimpson (second right), Baggott outlined her plans for making the industry's premier title even better. The editor then proceeded to demonstrate the qualities that have taken her to the top by working the room like a seasoned pro. There was no doubt that a grand time was had by all, and having caught a glimpse of the bar tab, Diary can only concur.
