Diary: How we kitted out our pad with hotel extras

Diary has to admit to having snaffled away the odd bottle of hotel shampoo on its travels, but it was still shocked to peruse the findings of First Option's latest survey. A whopping 61per cent of Americans nab toiletries, and that's just the tip of the crypto-criminal iceberg. Towels are pinched by 18 per cent of hotel guests, 14 per cent take ashtrays, while two per cent - who quite frankly need therapy - take bathmats. Why not go the whole hog, pack some plumbing tools and make off with a full bathroom suite and maid?
