Following devastation after the war, Croatia is slowly re-establishing its C&I credentials but needs more UK event buyers to experience first-hand what it has to offer, says Mark Hillsdon After nearly a decade in the wilderness, Croatia is re-establishing itself as a tourist destination. A picturesque country bordered by Hungary, four other states of the former Yugoslavia and the clear blue waters of the Adriatic, Croatia's economic recovery after the war with Serbia has been slow, hampered by its failure to gain entry to the EU.
