Formerly an 18th century ferry inn, The Airds Hotel is situated in the small village of Port Appin on the west coast. One of the AA's Top 200 UK hotels and famed for its three-AA-rosette cuisine, the hotel mainly caters to small incentive groups, and prides itself on its discreet service. Situated just over two hours from Glasgow, local attractions include Castle Stalker, Glen Coe and Ben Nevis, and the property is en route to the dramatic Northern Highlands scenery. Incentive groups may choose a house party-style event including a Scottish piper, or for more energetic groups, activities close at hand include fishing, clay pigeon shooting, whisky tasting, riding and sailing. The hotel's client list features such household names as the Bank of Scotland, Royal Bank of Scotland and Bentley.
