NTO Survey: Perfect partners?

This year's survey findings show that national tourist organisations are starting to realise the true importance of the C&I market. Yasmin Razak reports on a developing relationship The relationship between national tourist organisations (NTOs) and conference and incentive organisers has always been complex, with many agencies contacting destination management companies (DMCs) and some agencies accusing the NTOs of not understanding the sector. But, this year's CIT survey reveals a growing recognition of the importance of the C&I industry with a marked rise in the promotional budgets of several NTOs, more fam trips and a heightened awareness of the impact of dedicated C&I marketing campaigns.
