Trying to find a marketing tool with pizazz in the overcrowded world of commerce can't always be easy - the yawn-yielding advertising dirge we're subjected to daily is testament to that. But Lancashire Tourism has hit on an effective way of raising the eyebrows of at least half its client base with the introduction of a buxom cartoon bombshell as an online guide. Here's hoping Lancashire's Online Information Service (LOIS to her friends, natch) heralds a new animated trend - Droopy, Snoopy, Shaggy and Boo-Boo are surely the future of C&I.
