OPINION: Sounding off - Some destinations will always provide a genuine welcome

Recent grumbles from buyers have suggested that the so-called top C&I destinations have been getting a little too comfortable in the trappings of their success. Complacency is taking hold and making the reality behind the facade tired and jaded. When the rot sets in the thought, care, attention to detail and passion peter out, leaving groups all dressed up with nowhere to go. One solution, of course, is to choose an up-and-coming destination where hospitality is a way of life, and where visiting delegates are always made to feel number one.
