Freeman has appointed Eugene Ng as head of creative services in Singapore. Ng will report to Ian Terry, managing director, Singapore.
Ng will head up the agency’s integrated brand experience offering, leading creative and strategy teams to create experiential campaigns.
Ng was previously head of creative services, design at the Freeman Beijing office. Ng was born in Singapore and moved to Beijing in 2012, and since then has also held creative roles for national and global clients including Audi, Microsoft and LEGO.
“Design creates powerful experiences,” said Ng. “I am a strong believer that design thinking is applicable to every aspect of our lives and that designing experiences that are personal while telling a compelling story can go a long way in driving demand for a brand.”
Ian Terry added: “Eugene brings such gravitas in experiential campaign and creative leadership to the business. The creativity, passion and persistence he has shown in his work and his deep understanding of the Chinese market and consumer behaviour trends allow him to provide strategic insights for our clients.”
Ng led the Google Developer Days China 2019 and Audi AI:ME Concept Car World Premiere, which recently earned one gold and three bronze awards in the 2020 Event Marketing Awards by Campaign Asia.
