Which international events are being cancelled

All the latest postponements and cancellations as the world deals with the coronavirus pandemic.

Major events and conferences around the world continue to be postponed, cancelled or made digital-only as countries implement a variety of responses to stop the spread of coronavirus. 

Munich's Oktoberfest, which brings six million people to the German city every year, has been cancelled. It was scheduled to run from 19 September to 4 October. Bavaria's state premier Markus Soeder, said: "We have decided the risk is simply too great. It hurts, it is a huge shame."

US president Donald Trump has tweeted that he may ban all immigration into the country, in response to the coronavirus pandemic.  

France has today stopped all flights outside the Schengen zone.
