Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River will open on 22nd March 2020, offering lots of meeting and event spaces in the Thai capital.
These include a riverfront ballroom with an outdoor terrace, and various restaurants and bars.
The hotel has 299 guest rooms including suites with garden terraces and a two-story Presidential Suite. This suite has double-height ceilings and a rooftop pool terrace overlooking the river, and can also be used as an event space.
The hotel makes the most of its riverside setting surrounds with connecting indoor and outdoor spaces, high ceilings, glass walls and water features. A series of outdoor courtyards are connected by structural elements, trees, fountains and reflective ponds.
Award-winning architect Jean-Michel Gathy was the principal designer of the hotel, with the firm Denniston.
He said: "In such a magnificent setting, transitions are paramount. Dramatic ceiling alignments, open arches, and the use of parallel exquisite materials within and outside the buildings all contribute to a defining sense of unity amid variety."
Gathy has also curated an art space in the hotel, showcasing contemporary Thai artists.
