Top Banana hires non-executive director

New addition brings more than 30 years experience to the agency and will mentor and advise the leadership team.

Andrew Winterburn has joined creative communications agency, Top Banana, as a non-executive director.

With more than 30 years in the event industry, and having already worked in collaboration with the agency to create its current five-year growth plan, Winterburn will guide and support the agency’s leadership team and business strategy.

"I’ve worked with Richard Bridge and other members of the Top Banana leadership team for around 18 months now and we found we worked really well together," said Winterburn.

"My role is to help support and guide the team and ensure they are taking a step back and look at things with a different viewpoint to help them shape the successful future of the company."

Richard Bridge said: "Having worked with myself and the leadership team for a number of months already, we have really seen the value Andrew brings to the business. We now have someone to challenge us and help drive us forward in all areas of the business."

In 2019 Top Banana grew its team to more than 60 employees across three offices in the Midlands, London and Manchester, celebrated its 20th birthday and won the accolade of C&IT Agency of the Year.
