HGA has appointed Helen Ellis as head of live events.

Ellis will oversee conferences, gala dinners, awards and brand activations at the agency in Manchester. She has 15 years of industry experience with a variety of big-name brands in the UK and abroad.

Ellis is one of three new appointments after a year of record sales for the agency. Sam Mundy also joins as technical projects manager, and Grace Aspin as events assistant.

Managing director Dan Laurence said: "I’m thrilled to welcome Helen to HGA and look forward to seeing the impact she has on our services, our clients and our multi-talented team."

Ellis added: "This is an exciting opportunity for me to take the reins and deliver some fantastic live events for a truly impressive client list. I look forward to working with such a great team of people."
