FMI boosts business development team with three hires

New staff follow a series of client wins for the Chilton-based events agency.

Events agency FMI has made three new hires within its business development team.

The first hire, Sophie Robinson, will manage clients including Huawei, Kubota and Aqualisa. Robinson has previously worked with Jaguar Land Rover and Tesco Media.

Charlie Seaton-Reid joins the agency’s business development team and will be responsible for new business opportunities. Having worked in marketing for Kia Motors UK, Seaton-Reid aims to grow FMI’s automotive offering, which currently includes Mazda and Inchcape.

Finally, Amy Mak will take up a year’s internship at FMI before studying event management at university.

"We’re delighted to have Sophie, Charlie and Amy join us in such an exciting period of growth for our business," said Clare Bingham, FMI’s engagement and operations director.

"We’ve had some incredible success over the past year with six new clients coming on board with corporate events and channel programmes, and we’re keen to keep that momentum moving forward.

"These new hires will be key to helping us to deliver a range of exciting new projects for our clients, as well as supporting our growth into new markets."
