Italy at Hand: The finalised programme of events

What's happening at Italy at Hand, The Event, 2019 in Rome this year.

Pre-scheduled business meetings with top representatives of the Italian meeting industry and interactive activities in a singular Rome, are some of the features of the second edition of Italy at Hand the Event, the MICE event entirely made in Italy by Convention Bureau Italia.

The opening night scheduled for the evening of November 7th will mark the start of the event and will be held in the prestigious Galleria del Cardinale, a Baroque-era gem set in the heart of Palazzo Colonna, the magnificent patrician residence of the Colonna family.

The evening will begin with a fascinating tour to discover one of the oldest residences in the capital and will continue with a stand-up dinner and authentic Italian-style entertainment.

The morning of November 8th will be dedicated to Business Meetings that will be held in the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Renzo Piano’s contemporary masterpiece. There Italian offers will meet up with international demand, through set appointments with the guarantee of a meeting among all the participants during the course of the three-day event.

The afternoon will be dedicated to interactive activities that characterise the format as devised by CBItalia, and will be inspired by Italy at Hand keywords. The absolute protagonist: Italian know-how, with partners of extraordinary calibre.

Buyers and Exhibitors will discover and test themselves in unconventional activities inspired respectively by art, innovation, love and Italian rituals. They will be able to fully immerse themselves in Italian culture through its innovations in the field of architecture, contemporary art, and arthouse cinema, recreating cult scenes from great films and savouring our local coffee ritual with the internationally renowned giant of the industry, Lavazza.

The second day of the event will end with the Gala Dinner, at La Nuvola - Rome Convention Center, the innovative and unconventional location designed by the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas, which will welcome international guests such as Ray Bloom. Within the programme of the Gala evening there will also be the presentation of The best hand shaker at Italy at Hand 2019 Award.

On November 9th, the last day of the Capitoline festival will include a second slot of set appointments at the Auditorium Parco della Musica followed by lunch and the Closing Ceremony. With the conclusion of the event, international buyers may avail themselves of the opportunity to extend their stay in Italy by participating in a Post-event Tour in Rome, Lazio or Naples.
