New event space opens at Southampton Science Park

Venue has capacity for 200 people and is close to major road and rail links, as well as Southampton Airport.

Southampton Science Park has opened Axis, a new meetings, conference and event venue. With three flexible spaces, Axis can hold up to 200 delegates and is ideal for smaller events. 

Positioned alongside fast-developing tech companies and start-ups in Southampton Science Park, Axis is just minutes from major roads, rail links, hotels and Southampton Airport.

Axis has already begun to establish a reputation for hosting ground-breaking events, such as the first South Coast World Trade Summit, held in partnership with The Institute of Export & International Trade.

Lesley Batchelor OBE, director general of The Institute of Export & International Trade said: "We really enjoyed running our World Trade Summit at Axis. Its modern facilities were ideal for the event and the team there were extremely helpful and supportive."

Emily Witchell, conferencing manager at Southampton Science Park said: "We like to think of the space as both convenient and customisable, which means we’re able to meet a wide range of event organisers’ needs."
