Industry gathering IBTM China will be taking place from 28-29 August 2019.
One of the speakers, Kevin Jackson, will present a thought-provoking session on day one of IBTM China’s Knowledge Programme, called 'Growing your business: work less, win more’.
Jackson, who is director at The Experience is the Marketing, focuses on engagement, participation and memorable communications solutions. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the marketing and events world, which has seen him work with brands such as Adidas and Zumba.
Jackson said: "I’m passionate about the meetings and events industry and love speaking to people about their businesses and finding creative ways to solve their challenges. Events such as IBTM China are a fantastic opportunity to come together with fellow professionals and experts, share ideas and come away with new ways of working."
Jackson will join other speakers including:
- Jin Peng, senior director at Mafengwo Travel, who will discuss product innovation for destination bureaus and future tourism trends.
- Zhang Fan, CEO at Mioji, who will explore how to create ‘must visit’ destinations
- Steff Berger, MD of VOBE, who will discuss the importance of effective communication in crisis management.
IBTM China event manager Nicole Ci said: "We’ve put together a packed programme of inspiring educational content for IBTM China this year.
"We’re looking forward to some lively discussions and to continuing to further knowledge and discussion around the Chinese MICE industry."
Some of the international exhibitors signed up to attend so far include Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Melia Hotels, Visit Las Vegas South Africa National Convention Bureau, Busan Metropolitan City, Tourism New Zealand and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.
Domestic exhibitors include Beijing Tourism, SIP Service Industry Development Bureau, Dalian Crowne Plaza Hotel, Jinling Hotels & Resorts.
IBTM China gathers more than 5,000 global meetings industry professionals together for two days full of pre-scheduled business meetings.
