Sleek Events has hired Lily Johnson as project manager and Chiara Gambin as personal assistant and project executive.

Johnson's previous role was with an events agency in Melbourne and Gambin has made the move from the hospitality sector, having previously worked at a five-star hotel in Mayfair.

Gambin got straight into the swing of things at Sleek with a large corporate event in the Benelux. "Of course, the lion’s share of the work had been completed in the months before but it was great to see the team in action," said Gambin.

The agency has also formed a new charity partnership with Meeting Needs, which raises funds for causes related to the events industry. In the summer, Sleek will be holding a sports day event to raise money for Meeting Needs, which will include such traditional favourites as the egg and spoon race.

"The work Meeting Needs does is inspirational - we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves and get involved," said Jennifer Davidson, MD and founder.
