Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel has opened in Glasgow, featuring 113 rooms.

The new property from Kimpton Hotels contains original building features such as marble fireplaces and wood panelling.

Guests can choose from a 50sqm Junior suite, 65 sqm Executive suite, or the 153sqm Penthouse suite; a two-bedroom apartment with its own private lift and entrance.

The Bo & Birdy restaurant and bar offers guests the best of locally sourced Scottish ingredients in a relaxed, informal setting. It has a cocktail menu offering much loved classics or the Bo & Birdy cocktail which comes complete with Peacock feather garnish.

"Glasgow is one of the UK’s most exciting cities, it’s bursting with culture, music, history and personality, making it a great location for the newest Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant," said Murray Thomson, general manager of Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel.

For groups, there’s also a private dining room that seats up to 10 guests, with adjacent kitchen and roof garden. The hotel also offers an in-house cinema which can be used for events.
