Venues and Events International wins Foreign Office contract

The partnership with Torchlight Group will deliver conferences aimed at promoting international cyber security standards.

Venues and Events International has been successful in a consortium style bid to win a Foreign Office funded project, delivering cyber security conferences across the world along with Torchlight Group and PGI (Protection Group International).

Torchlight Group selected Venues and Events International to partner with them to deliver the programme. The series of events, which kicked off with the first conference in Ghana in March, will also take place in Singapore, St Lucia with a potential fourth UK event, before concluding at the end of 2019.

Venues and Events International CEO Anita Lowe said: "This is a hugely prestigious project and we are delighted to have been successful in our bid along with Torchlight who have been a client of ours for many years.

"The first event in Ghana was a fantastic success and we can’t wait to deliver the remaining three events."

The conferences aim to promote international cybersecurity standards as well as building the foundations for future incident response across the globe.
