Full-service event management The Turner Agency (TTA) has appointed board director Liz Zutshi as its managing director.

Zutshi has 15 years’ experience with the company and was previously commercial director with responsibility for TTA’s new service and growth areas.

She has been instrumental in recent new business wins in the healthcare and IT sectors.

Liz takes over from John Lee who had been managing director for 10 years.

Lee will continue to oversee the company’s legal and regulatory functions, applying his 30 years of experience as a lawyer offering advice to colleagues.

Lee said: "I’m thrilled to be handing over to Liz, who brings a wealth of experience, energy and positivity to her new role. Our industry is hungry for new ideas and approaches – particularly in the healthcare arena, which has seen radical change over the past decade -and under Liz’s leadership, TTA will continuously evolve its provision of creative, agile solutions to meet clients’ needs."

Zutshi will work closely with TTA’s senior leadership team to maintain focus on service for clients, employees and shareholders

Zutshi added: "John has provided outstanding leadership for TTA and I am excited to be taking on the role at a time of new growth opportunities for us. I will be focused on expanding our service offerings and supporting our trajectory of new business wins.
