Former tech boss joins Upstage as board advisor

David Callaghan was previously senior VP at Oracle and will boost agency's tech sector business development.

David Callaghan, former senior vice president EMEA of technology giant Oracle, has joined upstage as board advisor, with a remit to support business development in the agency’s tech sector client base.

Callaghan, who has spent his in the IT sector, including 17 years with Oracle, will be assisting the global engagement agency to expand its technology client base.

His career has seen him serve an extended term as president of TechUK, the voice of the industry, and he is the current president of the British Quality Foundation.

"Having someone of David’s stature join our team is extremely exciting," said agency founder and CEO, Phil White.

"Not only does he bring an unrivalled set of contacts in the sector we work with most, but he has a hugely impressive record of delivering substantial growth for one of the world’s biggest Tech firms. 

"His guidance and support to me personally as we continue expanding our business on both sides of the Atlantic will be invaluable."

Callaghan added: "I am a long-time fan of Upstage and the work they do. Having seen them in action across a whole range of live and digital engagement activations, I am extremely confident that their offering will strike a chord with the needs of today’s Tech companies."
