INTERNATIONAL NEWS: Sydney bureau secures £9m of congress trade

Sydney has secured A$26m (£9.3m) of international convention business over the past two months, pulling in an estimated 5,600 delegates to the city between next year and 2012. The International Federation of Home Economics congress in 2012 - is expected to bring in A$7.1m (£2.5m) alone.
