HGA appoints client services director

Former head of sales Chris Hobson has been promoted to help double the agency's size in the next three years.

Chris Hobson has been appointed as client services director at HGA.

Starting at HGA in December 2017 as head of sales, he helped to implement a successful growth strategy, which saw the agency secure more than 30 new client wins.

In his new role, Hobson will help to lead HGA’s objective of doubling in size over the next three years.

Speaking about his new role, Hobson said: "This is a really proud moment for me [...] I am thankful that my efforts have been recognised by the current board and could not be happier.

"Since joining HGA, I outlined my ambitions to accelerate us to the ‘Top 50’ sphere as quickly as possible."

Managing director Dan Laurence said: "Right from the start, Chris’s tenacity, passion and ability shone through and he has been a key part of what we’ve achieved over the last 12 months. This promotion is testament to that and I know he will continue to play an integral role in helping the business realise its true potential."
