Upstage hires two programme managers

Two new staff join San Francisco office as agency expands to meet growing demand for its services on the West Coast.

Upstage has hired two new staff in its San Francisco office, based in the Bay Area.

Orla O’Dwyer has joined as senior programme manager and Taylor Smith as programme manager.  They will take on responsibility for delivering programmes for the agency’s roster of US clients.

O’Dwyer has worked in senior roles client-side for Black Rock and Barclays as well as having extensive agency experience, while Smith comes to Upstage from stints at Apple and Saatchi & Saatchi LA.

"What attracted me to upstage was their focus on engagement," says Smith. "The US market is hungry for the kind of creative solutions that Upstage specialises in, and I’m excited to be part of the team."

"Since launching here last year the growth has been phenomenal," says agency founder and CEO, Phil White.

"We have always worked closely with clients in the US, but having the expanded presence facilitated by an office here means we are able to offer them even more. Orla and Taylor bring a wide range of skills, but also experience of delivering for US clients at the highest level."
