Turkish Airlines will operate a twice weekly route from Antalya in Turkey to Gatwick Airport from 4 April. Flights will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Located on Turkey’s southwest coast, Antalya is considered the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, popular for coastal tourism and golf. The area of coast is also known as the 'Turquoise Coast' because of the colour of the sea there.
Celal Baykal, Turkish Airlines general manager London, said: "We’ve introduced this new Turkish Airlines route in direct response to the rise in passengers looking to travel to this destination.
"Whether a holidaymaker or golf enthusiast, we are keen to help passengers widen their world with Turkish Airlines."
