Event, digital and film production agency Glasgows has hired three members of staff bolstered by new contract wins.

Louise Jones joins the team as a producer, bringing a wealth of TV and video production experience.

Jones worked as a producer on Most Haunted, as script editor on a BBC drama and on several TV advertisements, and will now work within Glasgows' digital and film team.

André Perkins has been hired as a creative designer and brings an array of experience within the design and video production industry.

Perkins has previously worked as a 3D modeller and a 3D animator.

Ashley Byrne joins as a bid manager overseeing the bidding process for the public sector. Byrne has experience in public sector marketing and communications as well as working on high-profile bids.

Glasgows is also celebrating gaining places on three-year contract frameworks for the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather (ECMWF) and Network Rail.

The agency will be responsible for live streaming of several events including webinars and workshops on various platforms for ECMWF and event production as one of only three companies on Network Rail’s event roster.

Joint MD Paul Morey said: "This year has been a great year for Glasgows and has brought with it many challenges and rewarding successes.

"The most notable being the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Forums which were milestone events for the company working with royalty, heads of state and delegates from across the globe.

"This latest round of recruitment gives us the potential to grow further and develop our creative services in 2019".

Based in Leyland, Lancashire, the company employs 29 permanent staff.
