Firehouse has hired Ollie Lewis as senior producer and Kel Akaraonye as junior designer.

Lewis will be responsible for developing, executing and managing all aspects of the agency’s client projects, while Akaraonye will be part of concept designs and developing creative responses to briefs.

Akaraonye graduated from De Montfort University this year, while Lewis has previously worked as an events manager at Limelight Sports and Vision Nine.

On working in the events industry, Lewis said: "Creating compelling communications and experiences is demanding, but the rewards make up for the challenges.

"The idea of being able to create something unique and special for our clients offers immense satisfaction. You never really know what the next project will be, but you can help steer the ship."

Akaraonye added: "Seeing people experience a space that you have created is very fulfilling and makes you want to keep on pushing the boundaries. I am really excited about the challenges that are yet to come."
