WEBWATCH: Puerto Rico celebrates online

The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau is celebrating its 40th anniversary by launching www.meetpuertorico.com.

The content of the site is divided into four main sections: what to do, where to stay, where to eat and where to meet. Each section has a detailed search facility for visitors with a specific requirement. For users who are not familiar with Puerto Rico's geography, an interactive map highlights each town and what it has to offer C&I groups. Users can also create an online account that allows them to save any searches they carry out.

Details about Puerto Rico can be found by clicking on the buttons along the top of the page, including information on climate and languages, while the news centre has fact sheets on everything from the top ten ideas for theme parties to the country's historical sites. News updates on hotel expansions and the Puerto Rico Convention Centre are also available.
