FIRST has reported both turnover and gross profit gross in its 2017 end of year figures. Turnover increased by 67% from £33.9m to £56.9m and gross profit increased 48% from £15.3m to £22.6m for the year ending 30 September 2017.
Writing in the strategic report included with the accounts on Companies House, Peter Godfrey, director, said the ‘exceptional’ year was due to "a unique one-off major series of events for a global client…[which] contributed 44% of the increase in gross profit for the year and the challenge to the business will be to replace and enhance this contribution going forward."
He added that "We have embarked on increasing our capabilities in other regions to bring more services in house as it is our desire to be an integrated full service agency around the world."
