C&IT bags three BTJA awards

Our publication was a triple winner at the Business Travel Journalism Awards, including M&E Editorial Team of the Year.

C&IT scooped three awards at the prestigious Business Travel Journalism Awards, held last night at the Corinthia Hotel.

The awards are organised by Carlson Wagonlit Travel and the host this year was actor and comedian Doc Brown. They recognise achievements in the field of business travel journalism, both in the trade and national press.

It was a great night for C&IT and we walked away with:

Best Newcomer – Charlotte Flach

Editor of the Year – Calum Di Lieto

Meeting and Events Editorial Team of the Year

The evening began with a champagne reception, followed by a welcome from Johan Wilson, VP and Country Director, UK & Ireland. Doc Brown was on hand to provide comedic relief and present the awards, while a three course dinner was served. An open bar and chance for mingling with the winners closed the night.

C&IT would like to thank the judges, all our readers, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and of course our own commercial team for their support in helping us to achieve this fantastic recognition.
