The new-build Algarve Congress Centre is a destination for conferences, meetings, product launches and functions in southern Portugal.

Modern facilities offer adaptable layouts, catering to groups of all sizes and the latest technology brings events to life.

The Congress Centre is fully integrated into the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura Hotel, home to restaurants, swimming pools, spa, Vilamoura beach, Purobeach Vilamoura and more.

Flexible areas

There are several large and adaptable rooms to choose from, plus a selection of wide foyer areas suitable for exhibitions, production area, and more.

The main plenary room, Fénix, features an 10m high ceiling and has capacity for up to 3,000 people.

Inspiring settings

Get down to business or celebrate in a sophisticated space full of natural light. Indoor and alfresco areas showcase breathtaking marina and waterfront views.

Thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate, there’s some beautiful scenery to enjoy from gardens, rooftops, terraces, beaches and more.

Location

The Algarve Congress Centre is located just 25 minutes from Faro Airport.

Enjoy close proximity to attractions, commercial and cultural spaces, casinos and entertainment or set out for boating adventures from the marina.

Facilities

Take advantage of the versatile modern facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi with a usage allowance of up to 200MB, with ability to reach 2GB (subject to quote).

There is complimentary parking, loading and unloading zones, and capacity for heavy loads, which ensures that organisation and setup always run smoothly.

Being connected to the hotel promises flexibility and space to meet diverse needs. Catering options include contemporary fusion cuisine (Purobeach Vilamoura), Pepper’s Steakhouse, Italian cuisine (Oregano) and more. Creating several privately-catered areas is also possible, such as the luxurious gardens of Lakeside, with capacity for up to 3000 guests.

To complement your event with an unforgettable stay, benefit from a wide selection of accommodation options within Vilamoura area, with over 3,000 rooms in four- and five-star properties.

What to expect

Joao Jesus, area director of sales & marketing at Minor Hotels, says: "Although a brand-new venue in the Algarve, the new Algarve Congress Centre, strategically located between the marina, the beach and the prestigious Tivoli Marina Vilamoura has already been home to some prestigious events.

"From intimate rooftop cocktail parties to national congresses and international corporate meetings of 750 people, the events that already took place at this venue allowed us to show the flexibility of the Algarve Congress Centre and the beauty of the local surroundings – with the 270-degree glassed-wall meeting rooms with amazing views to the ocean and the marina and the 360-degree views of the rooftop.

"The fact that we are relatively close to the airport and near the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura and several other hotels is one of the highlights of the venue, making it possible to reduce the logistical stress involved in transportation details and having enough accommodation capacity for so many attendees.

"We are sure that no other venue in the region has the capacity and flexibility of Algarve Congress Centre."
