Hannah Spurdle has been appointed as event account manager at GOTO Events and will be tasked with managing a client portfolio after a number of recent wins.

Spurdle joins the team with a background of international sales in equine events including show jumping festivals in Florida, Longines Champions Tour and Rolex Grand Slam.

GOTO Events managing director Steve Perkins said: "Hannah brings a great amount to the table with all her knowledge in large-scale events. 2018 has been a big year for us.

"Having Hannah on board dedicated to our larger clients was a must to keep up with recent demand.  She will hopefully add a lot of breadth to our growth plans over the next few years."

Spurdle will focus on specific client accounts to develop new areas of business around team building and corporate events.

She will play a pivotal role in developing larger accounts and identifying new opportunities for team building and corporate events.

Perkins said wins for GOTO Events including Sky, Tesco, Google and WOWCHER meant that a new dedicated position could be created to build on the business.
