Club Med Cefalu in Sicily has opened. Nestled atop cliffs, the 304-room resort also features 10 suites with sea views and 128 private villas.

The convention centre within the hotel can be used as either one large space or divided into three areas for between 50 and 150 delegates. A lounge and business centre can be used by conference attendees.

Water sports take centre stage at the resort, with a combination of instructor-led and independent activities. Group courses in sailing, snorkelling or scuba diving can all be arranged, in addition to volleyball or tennis or football games for those who prefer dry land.

Dining options include La Rocca, the main restaurant with a special focus on providing cuisine for allergy sufferers; Riva Beach Restaurant and Il Covo Bar which hosts grilling and cooking shows directly on the beach; and the poolside Eden Bar.
