Cievents expands UK team

Andrew Barker joins as director of sales, while Basia Dudziak takes over the position of key account manager.

Agency cievents has made three new additions to its UK team.

Andrew Barker has transferred from cievents in New Zealand. He has over 15 years’ experience in event management, business development and recruitment in the MICE and hospitality sectors. Barker’s career includes senior sales and event manager roles at Accor Hotels and Aukland Pullman Hotel, as well as The Orange Group.

Basia Dudziak takes over the position of key account manager from Jade Howgrave-Graham covering her maternity leave. Dudziak’s ten-year career in the MICE industry includes project manager and client relationship roles at Zibrant, Grass Roots and BI Worldwide.

She brings wide-ranging experience in organising complex live events in London and New York, across diverse client sectors including automotive, financial, legal and pharmaceutical.

Simon Hubbard has also been appointed as business development manager. He joins cievents from Radius Meetings & Events where he was global sales manager.

His 20-years’ experience in the MICE industry includes operations and senior sales positions at CWT Meetings & Events, Professional Venue Solutions and Conference & Incentive Management (CIM).

Lucy Francis, general manager, cievents UK said: "I am delighted to welcome Andrew, Basia and Simon to the team as we continue to expand our service offerings to our new and existing customers. These key appointments are critical for our ambitious growth plans over the next few years."
