The Appointment Group increased its turnover by £4.2m for the last financial year to £23.3m, an increase of 22%.

According to accounts filed at Companies House, operating profit for the year rose to £868,674 for the year ending 31 December 2017, compared to a loss the previous year of more than £1m.

In July of this year, the event and travel management company announced it had been acquired by Apiary Capital. The directors statement filed with the accounts said: "2017 saw a concerted effort by the Group to attract new investors into the business to assist the shareholders and management to take the business through its next phase of growth.

"This was successfully concluded on 30 April 2018 when the shares in the Appointment Group Ltd were sold to Project Global Bidco Ltd, a vehicle created to facilitate Apiary Capital Partners investment."

"The Appointment Group’s strategy is to focus on creating one truly global brand, providing exceptional service to the corporate, touring, entertainment, events, sports and leisure sectors. It now boasts fast growing offices in Manchester, New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney in addition to its London headquarters."
