The best destinations for meetings and events revealed

This year's Eventex Top 20 Destinations for Meetings & Events Index has been announced.

The Eventex Top 20 Destinations for Meetings & Events Index bases its results on a weighted score that takes into account the number of wins from each destination in The Global Event Industry Awards over the past two years.

This year the Index has placed the USA top, with the UK and The Netherlands following in joint second.

The UK has been identified as the perfect destination for brand engagement events, conferences and meetings. According to the Pulse Event Industry Report 2018, with over 1.3million events organised annually, the increased competition in the UK event industry will fuel creative content and an even more dynamic event landscape.

The Top 20 Destination for Meetings & Events is the second index, part of the All-Stars rankings. Last year, Eventex released the global ranking for the best event organisers and agencies.

"Eventex Awards gather together the creme de la creme of the events world," said says Ovanes Ovanessian, co-founder of Eventex Awards.

"Its exponential growth in the past few years has turned it into a true institution in the event industry. As such, we felt right that those agencies and destinations, which constantly excel, deserve additional recognition. So Eventex All-Stars Indexes came up as a natural extension of the awards."
