Events agency Chillisauce has reported an increase in turnover and gross profit for the financial year ending 30 September 2017.

The London-based agency, which specialises in corporate events and activity weekends, as well as stag and hen parties saw gross profit rise 12%, from £5,449,685 in 2016 to £6,090,462 in 2017.

Turnover also rose just over 2% to £16,340,910, up £337,364 on 2016 figures filed with Companies House.

However, the total number of staff employed by Chillisauce fell from 99 to 95.

A statement by the directors said: "The business has continued to record growth across all areas of stag, hen and activity events in the UK and abroad. The market conditions for corporate events are more challenging and has impacted the performance this year.

"The directors are confident that 2018 will be another year of growth and are committed to […] continuing to innovate and develop the Chillisauce brand."
