Experienced operations manager James Edis has joined Seventa Events and will be responsible for operations and business growth.

Edis will also be overseeing operations at the Bournemouth Christmas Market and at Innovative Hire, a separate themed events hire company founded by Seventa Events' managing director Simon Brooks.

Edis said: "I will be searching for new ways in which we can achieve continued success. This will include reviewing and bringing in best practices, setting strategic goals and of course, developing innovative ideas for clients and UK brands across Seventa Events and Innovative Hire.''

Edis brings experience in managing and developing company operations and was previously operations manager at Hospitality group.

Simon Brooks said: "He really impressed us with the depth of his professional experience and his new role will give him a hand in guiding virtually all aspects of our business.

"His arrival marks an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and take on new clients across the UK.''
